Dressage Trainers-Do we really need them?
Do you remember Black Beauty? Horse is indeed the most beautiful beast, if well groomed. People who groom the horses and train horses for international competitions are known Dressage trainers. These trainers groom them, feed them, take care of their needs. Horses become extremely attractive if nurtured well.
Dressage trainers take care of horses just like a mother takes care of her baby. Horses in turn love them and follow their instructions. These trainers have the profession of teaching and training the horses. Horses are taught to respond to the verbal gestures and carry out instructions of their masters. Sometimes it is found that horses seem to be reluctant but actually the poor animal does not have adequate IQ to understand the communication.
People generally do not take care of these petty things and do not bother whether their horses respond or not. They do not have time, therefore they do not put any effort in that direction. By training their horse their riding can become a joyful experience.
There is a common perception that horses have intelligence. This is not true, horse do not have intelligence they get the requisite training to be intelligent. People do not understand their horse and hence face their behavior problem. When they go out for a ride their horse does not follow their instructions, they get the wrong impression that their horse is stubborn but actually there is a communication gap between the master and the horse.
To overcome these problem international dressage trainers , train the horse so that the horses can understand the language of their master. The art of dressage had flourished years back in Europe and now it is a discipline. Just like schoolmaster train their student to do well in life and for that purpose he selects good students, dressage trainers also select those for training who have deep understanding.
Dressage Trainers-How do I become one?
There is one club by the name of ITDC, founded by Hermann Duckek from Denmark, which provides up and coming dressage trainers. ITDC endeavours to raise the status of dressage trainers all over the world and in that parts of the world where dressage training is still in developing stage. Members of ITDC are highly professionals who train horses to compete on international arena. The club was formed by Hermann Duckek and he was the president of the club till 2001 when Sief Janssen succeeded him.
These days youth are attracted towards dressage training and are making a career in dressage training. There are some successful dressage trainers who have created a niche for themselves and made mark in this field. Rafael Soto is one such successful dressage trainer, who is a silver medalist in the art of dressage training. He is extraordinarily good and horses follow him word by word, so, if you like the company of horses becomes a dressage trainer.
